Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Flynko collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you use the Flynko app and the Flynko website.

Flynko is an independently operated business run by Adil Khan, based at Nagina, near Police Station, Badakli Chowk, NUH, Haryana – 122108, India. It applies to customers who order through Flynko, to sellers listed on the platform and to delivery partners who deliver orders.

By using Flynko you agree to the handling of information described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

We collect only the information needed to operate the service. The categories are set out in the sections that follow:

• account and login information;
• location information, where you allow it;
• delivery address information;
• order and transaction information;
• payment information (limited — see below);
• Flynko Wallet information;
• device and app information;
• support communications; and
• verification details, where you register as a seller or a delivery partner.

What we do not collect. The Flynko app does not use advertising SDKs, does not access your contacts, camera or microphone, and does not track your location in the background or when the app is closed. We do not sell your personal information.

To create and access an account we process your mobile number and the one-time password (OTP) sent to it, together with the profile details you choose to add, such as your name and email address. We use this to identify you, secure your account and contact you about your orders.

Where you grant location permission, location information may be used to:

• determine whether Flynko is available at your location;
• help you select and confirm a delivery location;
• support delivery of your order; and
• enable order tracking where that feature is available.

Location is only used while you are using the app. Flynko does not collect location in the background or when the app is closed. You can grant or withdraw location permission at any time in your device settings, and you can still enter a delivery address manually.

We process the delivery addresses you save or enter, along with any landmark or delivery instructions you add. Addresses are used to check service availability, to route your order and to hand it over correctly. The relevant address is shared with the delivery partner assigned to your order.

We process the items you order, order value, applicable charges, order status, delivery outcome and order history. This is used to fulfil the order, keep you updated, handle any issue you report, and maintain the business records we are required to keep.

We process the payment method you selected and the payment status returned to us, so the order can be confirmed and recorded.

Flynko does not collect or store complete card numbers, CVV, UPI PINs or banking passwords. Those details are entered directly with the payment service provider and are handled under its own security standards and privacy policy.

Where you use the Flynko Wallet, we process your wallet balance and wallet transaction records so that balances stay accurate, wallet payments can be applied to orders, and any adjustment or resolution can be reflected correctly.

We may process basic technical information about the device and app version used to access Flynko — such as device model, operating system version and app version — to operate the service, keep it compatible and diagnose faults. This is not used to build advertising profiles.

Where order tracking is available, a delivery partner's location may be processed during an active delivery so that the progress of that order can be shown and the delivery completed. This applies only while a delivery is in progress.

Delivery partners are not tracked outside active deliveries, and customers are not location-tracked in order to follow a delivery.

We use personal information to:

• create your account and sign you in using OTP verification;
• show products and sellers available for your location;
• take, process, fulfil and deliver your orders;
• process payments and maintain your Flynko Wallet balance;
• keep you informed about the status of an order;
• respond to support requests and resolve reported issues;
• verify sellers and delivery partners before onboarding them;
• prevent fraud, misuse and abuse of the service;
• operate, maintain, secure and improve Flynko; and
• meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We share personal information only where it is needed to run the service, and only with these categories of recipients:

• sellers fulfilling your order;
• delivery partners delivering your order;
• payment service providers processing your payment;
• service providers supporting our infrastructure; and
• authorities or advisers, where disclosure is required by law or needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for third-party advertising.

We use third-party providers for infrastructure such as hosting, communications and payment processing. Providers receive only the information needed to perform their function, are expected to protect it, and are not permitted to use it for their own unrelated purposes.

Online payments may be processed through the Cashfree payment gateway or the relevant payment infrastructure provider, supporting UPI, cards and the other methods offered at checkout. Payment information you enter during checkout may be processed by that payment service provider in accordance with its own terms and privacy policy.

Cash on Delivery and Flynko Wallet payments are handled within the Flynko service itself.

Sellers receive the order details needed to prepare your order. Delivery partners receive the delivery address, the contact details needed to complete the handover, and the order details.

Where you apply as a seller or a delivery partner, we process the information and documents you submit for verification — for delivery partners this includes Aadhaar, Driving Licence, Vehicle Registration Certificate (RC) and bank details — solely to verify eligibility, onboard you and make payouts.

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed for those purposes, it is deleted or anonymised.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss and misuse, and we limit access to those who need it to operate the service.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please keep your account and OTP details private and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

Subject to applicable law, you can:

• access the personal information we hold about you;
• ask us to correct information that is inaccurate;
• ask us to delete your account and associated information;
• withdraw permissions such as location access; and
• raise a concern about how your information is handled.

To make a request, write to support@flynko.in. We may need to verify your identity before acting on it.

You can delete your Flynko account from the app: go to Profile → Account → Delete Account. You may be asked to confirm before the request is carried out. You can also submit a deletion request from the Delete Account page on this website.

Deleting your account removes your access to it. Some information may still be retained afterwards where required by law, for payment and accounting purposes, or to resolve a dispute or prevent fraud, as described under Data retention.

Flynko is not directed at children. Accounts should be created and used by people who are able to enter into a binding contract under applicable law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

We may update this policy as the service develops or as legal requirements change. The date shown at the top of this page indicates when it was last updated. Continued use of Flynko after an update means the revised policy applies.
